  • Freight is charged by actual or by volume weight, whichever of the two is greater.

To calculate the volume weight, use the formula:

V *220 kg for road transport;

V *170 kg for air transport;

V *230 kg for rail transport.

  • To calculate delivery costs to the specified regions, or if you can’t find your destination in the list of delivery cities, call one of our branches.

Notes:

  • Oversized freight is subject to an additional 30% surcharge.
  • Oversized freight is freight whose:
    • weight exceeds 500 kg for a single place (for rail and air transport, exceeds 80 kg);
    • summary dimensions exceed 4 m (for rail and air transport, exceed 3 m).
  • Temperature-controlled freight is subject to an additional 30% surcharge;
  • All rates are shown in rubles, inclusive of VAT.

Sample cost calculation for road transport

Transport of freight (furniture) between Moscow and Yekaterinburg:

  • 10 boxes measuring 0.5*1*1 m., weighing 80 kg each.
  • Door-to-door delivery.

Calculation:

80 kg * 10 boxes = 800 kg = total actual weight

0.5 * 1 * 1 * 220 = 110 kg * 10 boxes = 1,100 kg = total volume weight

This means that the volume weight will be used in the calculation (since the volume weight is more than the actual weight):

Freight pickup in Moscow:  1,500 rubles.

Transport: 1100 kg * 7.80 rubles = 8,580 rubles.

Doorstep delivery to the recipient in Yekaterinburg:  700 rubles.

Total: 10,780 rubles.
